Here’s an Odd Couple for the fashion world: all American Lee Jeans are teaming up with British design superstar Vivienne Westwood. Westwood is known for her mainstream punk fashion, as well as for not liking jeans!
The new range will be part of Westwood’s Anglomania label to be known by the catchy name of The Vivienne Westwood Anglomania and Lee Collection. As well as skinny jeans for men and superskinnies for women, Westwood’s post-punk credentials will show themselves in microshorts and bondage jeans. Washes will vary from (fairly) traditional dark indigo and black through metallic gold to bizarre sounding trompe l’oeil lace.

The new jeans will be available to buy in stores for autumn/winter 2010, or in Vivienne Westwood showrooms from January 2010. The jeans will be accompanied by denim shirts and printed T-shirts.
